If my life were a film, the title would be “The Pursuit of Happiness”.
From a very young age, the search for harmony has been a fundamental point for me.
Recreating order and balance in everything – from sand tracks for marbles, to the perfect shot during a water polo match, from the notes on architectural history to the drafting of the project – has been and still is my polar star for the achievement of full satisfaction and happiness.
My educational path as an architect was a destiny-driven one, a natural choice dictated both by my personal “pursuit of happiness” and by the strong passion born in my father’s studio where I spent Saturdays drawing and familiarizing myself with the tools of the trade.
At 24 years old, I was the first in my course to obtain a degree with full marks in Architecture from the Politecnico of Milano. Shortly afterwards I left for Hong Kong, where I worked for one of the top ten largest architectural firms in the world.
As a Project Designer, I have dealt with projects of various kinds in a reality where the client and their requests have a very high target, with expectations of innovative design and technologically advanced solutions, allowing me to develop research and design skills.
Driven by the desire to create something of my own, in 2013 I choose Lugano, a stimulating and galvanising city, to found my own studio, ARLAN.ch atelier of architecture. Here I dedicate myself to the design of buildings with the intention of offering the client an architecture that is thoughtfully designed; that is a combination of aesthetics, functionality and priority, and that gives the right importance to the surrounding environment, the design of the greenery and the interior spaces.
In 2017, I completed my specialization in Works Management at SUPSI University in Lugano, refining my knowledge and strengthening my ability to manage construction sites.
Strongly believing in sharing values and objectives, I have managed to create a network of professionals with whom I work harmoniously and which allows me to develop projects on different scales and in different countries.
